Such a disappointment for such a trusted car rental company name. Booked our rental car online and paid 180, this included full insurance. Paid a 300 deposit at the desk and also agreed to pay 25 for the road toll service. Discovered I was in fact charged 360 and given no explanation as to why this was. Returned the car in perfect condition with a full tank of fuel,two days later I had 200 taken out of my bank account. When I rang budget car rental in Faro they told me this was for additional cover which included windscreen cover and super damage waiver. They also added a fuel charge on. What was worse was how I was continuously ignored by budget car rental and given no clear explanation as to why I was charged more. I wrote to avis car rental who told me they would look at my documentation and try and make sense of it, they sent me a full detailed report of what I was charged for. Be very careful when signing anything.
Went with Budget for our stay in Monte Gordo (19/May - 26/May). On arrival, they didn't have similar car to what I paid for, but the offered car (Peugeot 2008) was okay - bit small for a SUV... My main reason for 2 stars is because of after charges and not answering calls. I've been recharged twice to a total of 70 euro for God knows what. Till today, no email has been sent, confirming what the charges were for. I paid the tolls, the car was 100% fine (confirmed by rep who checked) and it was returned full of fuel. I've tried ringing them 9 times and not a single person answered the phone. I just want to know what the hell I was being charged extra for. I rang Budget in my country but they can't deal with it. This is a joke, I'm going to raise the issue with VISA... Quick to take my money but not quick to explain why or answer phones. Ridiculous .
Naciganie kasy na dodatkowe opcje, ktre s niepotrzebne. Kaucji wcale nie trzeba paci, ale mocno na to nalegaj. Obsuga niemia i niekompetentna. Za nawigacj ka zapaci, jednake nie zapaciem i o dziwo jako dziaaa ;) Jedyny plus, e auto nowe i czyste. Nie zatankowane do koca (spuszczaj paliwo, ale kreska nadal widnieje na full). Radz unika. A i auto dostaem inne ni zamawiaem :)
